Group Travel Questions Answered

What counts as a group, and how many people do I need?
Group travel usually starts around 8–10 travelers (or about 5+ cabins on a cruise), which is often enough to unlock group rates and perks. That said, I coordinate everything from a few families traveling together to large celebrations, so if you're not sure whether your group qualifies, just ask.
What kinds of group trips do you plan?
Family reunions, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, friends' getaways, destination weddings, honeymoon-plus-guests trips, corporate retreats, and multi-generational vacations — on land or at sea. If you're bringing people together, I can plan it.
Do groups get discounts or added perks?
Often, yes. Many cruise lines and resorts offer group pricing, complimentary spots, or amenity credits once you reach a minimum number of rooms or cabins — and I handle securing and applying those benefits for you, so your group gets the most value available.
Can you help with destination weddings?
Absolutely. I coordinate destination weddings and all the guest travel around them — matching you with the right resort and wedding package, managing room blocks, and helping your guests book their own rooms — so you can enjoy the celebration instead of the logistics.
How do payments work for a group trip?
Typically each traveler or family books and pays for their own reservation under your group, on a set deposit-and-balance schedule. That means no single person has to front the whole cost, and everyone manages their own payments with my guidance.
Is there a fee to have you coordinate our group?
For most group trips there's no separate planning fee — I'm paid by the travel suppliers, so my coordination costs you nothing. For elaborate custom group itineraries that require extensive design, any fee is always discussed with you upfront before any work begins.
How early should we start planning a group trip?
The sooner the better. For groups I recommend starting 9–12 months out — or even earlier for destination weddings and peak travel dates — so we can hold enough space and lock in group benefits before they fill up.
